Rebecca Swedlove
Co-Founder
​A former competitive swimmer, Rebecca understands firsthand the importance of strong aquatic foundations. She is an active member of the Ottawa Drowning Prevention Coalition and regularly provides swim lessons and water safety presentations in the community to ensure that individuals of all ages have the knowledge and skills they need to stay safe. ​
As the owner and operator of Aqua-Tots Swim Schools in the Ottawa area since 2021, she has helped countless families develop essential swimming skills and confidence in the water.

Beyond her work in aquatics, Rebecca is an engaged member of the Kanata Business Improvement Association, continuously striving to support local businesses and community initiatives. As a mom to two young girls, she is personally invested in creating a safer environment for all children.

With her expertise, leadership, and unwavering commitment to water safety, Rebecca is proud to offer professional lifeguarding services, furthering her mission to prevent drowning and promote a culture of aquatic safety in the Ottawa region.
Kurtis Adamus
Co-Founder
Kurtis boasts over a decade of aquatics experience having provided his services in various roles throughout his career. He has been exposed to nearly every aquatic environment including pools, water parks, swim schools, and beaches seeing first hand what it takes to be successful in the industry.
His passion for water safety and drowning prevention goes beyond his skills as a lifeguard. As an esteemed
member of the Lifesaving Society of Ontario Kurtis regularly contributes to this community by teaching or examining the future generation of lifeguards and instructors. Moreover Kurtis is currently serving as the Technology Chair for the Lifesaving Society of Ontario.
Beyond the world of Aquatics Kurtis is the proud co-founder of another Ottawa-based business called CrewMed, an emergency medial services company. He is also an accomplished musician having acquired a Bachelor of Music from Carleton University. Kurtis also recently graduated as an MBA with a concentration in management change.
Outside of his professional endeavours you can find Kurtis spending time with his friends and family, traveling the world, out for a run, or of course playing music to a crowd.
